Formula1: Bahrain Preview

untitled

In a practice and qualifying that saw Ferrari and Mercedes swapping and changing positions, Lewis Hamilton came out on top taking his fourth consecutive pole position for tomorrows Bahrain Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettal secured second by narrowly beating Nico Rosberg who starts third on the grid. The two Williams start fifth and sixth slightly behind the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen.

With little thrill from qualifying tomorrows race could be a straight forward run out for Hamilton however Vettal’s second placing could provide a threat and make him work for his victory. The separation by Ferrari could also provide a welcomed threat in the constructors title, if they can either take victory or pioneer a way to upset the Mercedes team.

I think a lot of F1 followers would like an upset of some sort but consistency would need to be maintained to provide a real threat in this seasons championship!!
